Review

Pretty solid popcorn flick. There are some decent laughs here, and characters like Kat (Julia Stiles) are pretty iconic, so that’s good. Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is the most consistently likeable character, but Patrick is cool enough to give him the win here. Most of the other characters are pretty annoying (high school movie, so not really surprising) and the plot does complicate itself a little too much, but the 90s comedy is still more entertaining than most of what is put out today. Speech at the end is not bad, I guess, and the massive song is setting the bar way too high for promposals. Also I find it weird how Bianca (Larisa Oleynik) just kisses Cameron and he stops thinking she’s awful, but whatever works, I guess.

Not really spoiler-sensitive.
