Review
The movie lets you know right away that it’s not afraid to make you uncomfortable. It was sorta dialing everything up to eleven, but a couple other moments also were a little too real, which really shouldn’t work but it really really does. Absolutely HILARIOUS, couple of characters are straight up iconic, and a couple of scenes had me almost laughing aloud on the plane. What made the movie for me was that everything, no matter how weird, always tied into the protagonists and their friendship (chemistry was ON POINT). Balances the humor and super emotional character moments really well, and the soundtrack definitely helped with that (standout: Slip Away by Perfume Genius).

GIGI. Give this woman her own movie. Also, the Cardi B and not-really-cocaine moments were iconic. The hookup scene was def an L, but also pretty funny, so that works ig. Felt really bad for the panda, and Lisa Kudrow being Lisa Kudrow was great. I guess the kid with the car (idr his name) was kinda annoying, and Hope was forgettable ish (her relationship w/ Amy was not set up AT ALL, and she had no character except for being a sarcastic girl who’s actually nice on the inside. Wanted to like her, but nooooo.) The movie’s about the friendship though, not the love interests, so I’m okay with it.
