Review
O CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN. I don’t think there’s an actor in history as Robin Williams, and his performance in this movie is just as good as Sean in Good Will Hunting. This is one of the most quotable movies ever, since it literally has some of humanity’s best literature to draw from, but also because of its iconic as hell characters: Charlie/Nuwanda (Gale Hansen), Neil (Robert Sean Leonard), Knox (Josh Charles), and Todd (Ethan Hawke). As a teen, this is literally the story of our lives, and it’s safe to say that we’d all kill for a teacher like Mr. Keating. Welton has a really elite, Hogwarts-y feeling to it that makes us want to go there, despite how horrible it is. The Dead Poets Society itself is like Terabithia—it might seem like a fantasy, but it’s the truth.
