Review
Well I'm not a broadway guy, but I appreciate vocals, and Lin Manuel Miranda is a certified legend. From the opening scene (which kinda spoils itself) the music is great, and all the performers really fit their parts wonderfully. Miranda is great and captivating as Alexander Hamilton. Thomas Jefferson (Daveed Diggs) and George Washington (Christopher Jackson) are really fitting as the respected presidents, while Leslie Odom Jr.'s Aaron Burr is a pleasant surprise (but also the character that takes the most Ls). Jonathan Groff's King George III was a really nice comedic angle, reminiscent of Shakespeare's Puck. Most characters had really fulfilling and believable arcs, and I feel like I learned a bit, so that's good. If you're going to give oscars to any non-commercial movies, this is the way to go.
