Review
And the Academy Award goes to… was there ever any question? Al Pacino is just that guy. His chemistry with Charlie (Chris O'Donell), who's a great main character in his own right, is awesome to follow throughout the story. His atmosphere, the “Hoo-Ah” humming, his dialogue delivery, his performance as a blind man… all on top. The moral lesson about integrity and believing in yourself is great, and there's some really iconic scenes here. The supporting cast of Donna (Gabrielle Anwar, who's gorgeous) and Frank's family all help build his overall characterization, and the final speech as well as the last scene in New York are all-timers.
Spoiler Territory
Not really spoiler-sensitive.
