Review
So yeah I now have massive respect for this guy Edward Snowden. The movie's basically a dramatic documentary, so there's no real spoilers, but I felt like when they showed him at the end it was even better than seeing someone play him. Otherwise, Lindsay Mills (Shailene Woodley) was definitely a breath of fresh air in front of his dark and brooding lifestyle. The supporting cast was actually quite good: Corbin O'Brien (Rhys Ifans) was intimidating and cool, Glenn Greenwald (Zachary Quinto) was reassuring, Ewen MacAskil (Tom Wilkinson) and Laura Poitras (Melissa Leo) definitely showed off the best of journalism. But yeah more than the movie itself, which was cool (if a little slow), I just find it really impressive that someone actually did what Snowden did. Definitely an inspiration to the rest of the tech-types.
Spoiler Territory
Not really spoiler-sensitive.
